Welcome Billie "Boner" Bones to the main cast of Pirate Booty! Her adventures begin now with more to come during the Dominance and Submission event.
Updates:
Gold Cost modifications for upgrading buildings. Some lower-level buildings may cost a bit more than before for their first few building levels. But this allowed for more buildings to come into play without building upgrades costing silly amounts. It also has the added benefit of increasing your gold value.
Portrait costs are temporarily slashed in half, by someone from Captain Clit's old crew.
This Stash sale will be in effect for the next 2 weeks.
Portrait drop increases for Buried Treasure, Daily Rewards, and Free Booty (bonus for 5 daily raids).
Pirate Hall levels all increase by 50 for each upgrade (past the first 2 for flow reasons).
Quality settings were added to help alleviate issues for lower-end devices implemented. These settings should adjust automatically the first time if they detect a drop in frame rate. Changes to these can be made in the Settings screen.
Auto: Detects your Frames Per Second to lower quality automatically if your device comes across an issue that isn't resolved in 3 seconds.
Fast: Lowers the quality of the water, and other heavy VFX elements. It also will show a different background when viewing the story.
Mixed: Allows for certain High elements, but still aims for performance over visuals.
High: Highest quality displayed.
Billie Bones joins the crew, and her story begins!

We're introducing three new buildings as well; the Brothel, Gunsmith, and Tailor are now available once you reach their unlock level.
The Girthy Totem will now increase the cap of all resources in the associated building by +5 when active.
The Smuggler's Market will now ask to confirm a purchase before completing in order to avoid accidental purchases.
Bug Fixes:
An issue causing Blackbeard's Adventure "Blow the Man Down" to display incorrectly when clicking on just the image view resolved.
Potential fix for some Raid Cache node shenanigans.

Patch Incoming!!!! 08/23/2023 05:08 PM Just wanted to update y'all on some of the stuff coming in this week's patch, this Thursday.
We've been listening to your suggestions and complaints, and while we can't hit them all immediately, we're evolving the game based on player experiences and difficulties.
This week we'll be modifying the building upgrade costs. Might even be wise to hold off upgrading some of your buildings if you've already got them at higher levels. And those of you who have lower-level buildings, upgrade them now! The early increases aren't terrible, or massive deviations from play. Just a tip from us, if you can upgrade some of your earlier buildings, do it before this patch.
One big benefit of this change is you'll have more gold to spend on those coveted portraits! We've heard your complaints about the gold cost of portraits being too high. We have near future plans to introduce additional ways to earn portraits that don't rely on the chance drops in Buried Treasure or Battle Booty. But we don't want to wait for that. So, until that time, and in the name of Captain Clit, we're slashing the Gold price of Portraits by half. We're hoping to get the other portrait-gaining opportunities to you in just a couple of weeks. Isn't Captain Clit dead? Who wrote this...
Storage limits in all tiers of the Pirate Hall are also getting significant bumps so you can hold more resources for each of the levels.
We're going to be working in a quality settings feature so some of the devices that are struggling with the heavier content will be able to run the game smoother. Sometimes with droids it can be a wide spectrum to hit, but we think this patch should help boost performance for many of those with droids who've experienced these issues.
