Recruitment is the first step in building your ideal team. Once you have completed the tutorial, you will be ready to start the recruitment process. There are multiple ways to recruit new characters:

• Mystic Recruit and Galaxy Recruit: Higher chances of obtaining rare and powerful characters, especially when using Recruit Mileage.
• Pick Up Recruit: limited banners which usually run for a limited time. Frequently summoning from this option guarantees super rare characters automatically after a certain amount of draws.
• Normal Recruit: Costs Recruit Tokens and offers stronger characters.

Make sure to recruit from these options regularly to build a powerful team min Ark Re:code. To do so you will need Contracts to recruit Members and Bonds.

Now that you have recruited enough bodacious babes, it is time to assign Members to your roster. When assembling your team, consider assigning characters strategically, as the first position in the lineup typically takes the most damage. Although you start with two teams, spending Diamonds allows you to unlock more slots, increasing your options for battle formations.

Knowing the class type your beauties belong to will lead to your success. So, let’s go over them quickly:

• Defenders are tanks, shielding allies and ensuring survival.
• Warriors offer a balance of offense and defense, holding their ground in tough battles.
• Casters excel in long-range attacks, damaging multiple enemies and boosting allies.
• Vanguards are agile attackers, quickly eliminating foes.
• Medics specialize in healing and supporting allies to keep them fighting.
• Snipers use precise long-range shots to weaken enemies from afar.

With each class serving a distinct purpose, you must carefully consider your team composition, combining these strengths to create a well-balanced and effective battle squad! 

If your roster gets too full, use the Send Member feature to send extra characters to a parallel world. You'll earn Astrocash, and if the character is 3-stars or higher, you’ll get Pledge Crystals to trade for upgrade materials like Skill Modules, Star-Up Crystals, and Ampleons. Just remember, once a character is sent away, they can’t be retrieved, so choose carefully!

Now that you have recruited, assigned and begun to learn the basics, getting through the many stages of Ark Re:Code should start to get easier with your team. The Main Story mode is where the bulk of your progress occurs. Completing missions in the story rewards you with items, experience, and essential resources. Each stage offers a star rating based on your performance, with three stars yielding the best rewards.

Additionally, you will have access to Urgent Missions and the CP Exchange, which offer various rewards and allow you to exchange resources for items like Growth Potions or Star-Up Crystals. Keep progressing through these modes to unlock new stages and additional resources for your team!

Leveling Up Your Team: Potential Break and Enhancements

If you are into character management, you are in for a treat in Ark Re:Code! So, let’s run through some of the basics of leveling up and enhancing your powerful waifus. 

To improve your characters’ strength, focus on leveling up and Enhancing Skills which will ultimately help you beat tougher stages and challenges! As characters level up from Growth Potions, they can reach higher thresholds by using Star-Up Crystals. When they reach level 50, use Star-Up Crystals to boost their maximum level to 60.

Additionally, you can increase their Potential through Potential Break using Potential Fragments. This will raise their base stats and increase their overall power. 

Enhance Skills by using Skill Mods and Catalysts. High-level characters require higher-grade materials, so always make sure you have the resources to improve your team’s abilities. Don’t worry, though, if you are working with lower-rated members; you can use Astrogen Powder instead. Easy Peasy! 

Now let’s spend some time focusing on your inventory, but most importantly, how to properly equip yourself against any foe. 

Equipment & Bonds: Maximizing Power

You have loads of options when it comes to crafting and enhancing equipment, especially using materials you gather from Hunts. For example, Flame Crystals can craft gear that focuses on critical hits. Nature Crystals? Those are great for beefing up your attack and defense stats. 

Once you have whipped up some great gear, it is time to enhance it! This is where the real fun begins. As you boost your equipment, you can also adjust sub-stats, allowing you to fine-tune your gear even more for your strategies in combat.

Don’t overlook the handy Swap feature either in Ark Re:Code. It lets you switch between different pieces of equipment quickly, making it easy to experiment with setups. You can compare stats on the fly, helping you figure out which combinations work best for your ladies.

Another vital piece of equipment in strengthening your characters in the use of Bonds. Bonds grant special skills and attributes. There are class-exclusive and universal Bonds, so choose wisely. Next, the Production Center is key for making Growth Potions and Star-Up Crystals to evolve your team. Upgrading it increases production, and sending teams on missions with matching classes earns great bonuses and resources!

To speed through Chapters, unlock Quick Battle at Rank 35. It lets you breeze through Hunts, Element Exploration, and Story Stages by using one chance per battle, with 10 chances available each day. Lost chances can’t be restored, so plan your battles carefully. It’s a great way to quickly gather resources, experience, and gear, especially in the early and mid-game stages.

Contact Battle lets you face off against other players. Each match features a different opponent, so customizing your team before each battle is key. Mastering this mode will improve your tactical abilities and give you a competitive edge in higher-tier stages.

The Imaginary Chasm is a challenging 10-level dungeon where each floor provides Basic Rewards, and extra Stars can be earned by meeting specific conditions. In Arena Battle, you are limited to only using your main crew—no Support Members allowed. As the fight drags on, your babes will get a “Frenzy” boost, making them hit harder but also lose health. It's a balancing act between going all-out or playing it safe!

The Duel Opponents section lets you challenge other players, earning Medals of Honor and points with each victory. If you're on a winning streak, expect extra bonuses, but be careful—losing resets your streak, so there's always pressure to perform.

If you want a break from PvP, head to the NPC Challenge where you battle Members from the main story for Diamonds and Medals of Honor. While you won’t earn points like in player battles, the NPCs get tougher as you progress, always giving you a fresh challenge.

The Apex Arena is all about strategy when selecting your team. You will take turns picking Members, so be strategic! If you snooze, the game will choose a character for you, so stay sharp.

And don't forget about the Ban feature, which lets you kick one of your opponent’s characters out of the match, giving your team a better chance. The Ban Protection feature also keeps your third character safe from bans, offering extra security when you need it most!

Discipline 

Do you think your Ark Re:Code Members are strong enough? Just wait until you master Discipline! Train them up, weather Elements, and unlock powerful new abilities. The road to greatness starts here! 

Going into an individual Members’ detailed profile,you can access the Discipline tab. This is where the magic happens! You can train your Members and boost their skills by using something called Discipline Points. Just remember, these points take time to recover, but you can top them up with Diamonds if you are in a pinch.

Follow that up by gathering Elements! These little gems are super important for leveling up through the Discipline stages. You can grab them in Element Exploration or during battles. The more you explore, the more Elements you will collect to help your Members grow!

Let’s not forget about Catalysts! These are necessary for the higher Discipline levels as well, and which can be found by playing through the Main or Event Story stages.
